Cloud Developer (m/w/d)

part- or full-time (min. 75%)

You feel at home in the cloud environment and do you love to code? We have a great R&D team and are looking for someone with experience, best in the cloud environment of AWS. You will support our team for data preparation & provision and you will have a lot of freedom in your work.

• You will develop & operate data processing pipelines leveraging AWS services
• You will implement data provisioning solutions feeding our internal services (e.g. UI, BI, Analytics) with focus on scalability, speed and reliability
• You will set up new / improve existing data analytics platforms / DWHs
• You will optimize our current data solutions with regard to costs, latency, runtime and stability
• You will tune applications and query performance

Hard Skills:

• You have a degree in computer science, BI systems, natural sciences or comparable trainings
• You have programming skills in Python, Java and Kotlin would also be a plus
• You have at least 3 years of experience with databases (esp. in cloud environments)
• You have experience of building automated ETL-pipelines, data storages/ databases
• You have deep knowledge of Cloud stack; preferably with AWS (S3, RDS, Athena, Redshift, Glue)
• You have sound knowledge of SQL, big data tools & REST APIs
• You have very good command of English (company language is English)

• You have commitment, drive and the willingness to take ownership
• You are a team player with good communication skills and experience in agile working environments
• You have a practical approach and a passion for developing secure, reliable and scalable infrastructures
